The City of the Dead, or Zawiyyet Al Mayyiteen, is a large Muslim and Coptic Christian cemetery in El Minya, Egypt. It is made up of hundreds of mud-brick mausoleums- many of which have beehive roofs. It is one of the largest cemeteries in the world.

A couple of rock-cut tombs from the Old Kingdom are found at the edge of the site, as well as a small step pyramid from the early 3rd dynasty. The pyramid is remarkable because it is the only pyramid built on the eastern bank of the Nile.
