Apartment house, Vienna

1906-1908

Architect: Georg Berger

📍Dannebergplatz 11 , 3.Bezirk ,Wien -Landstrasse

Between 1906 and 1908, a series of five-story high-end residential buildings were built around the park on the so-called Arenbergring (now Dannebergplatz). Eight of these buildings were designed by the late historicist architect Georg Berger (1856-1930). Dannebergplatz 11 is also considered to be his work, but the façade of this building differs significantly from other neo-baroque designs by Berger: rather, it takes on Art Nouveau forms, which is especially noticeable in the geometric decor.
