If you’re looking for art that is equal parts unique, the subject of a conversation, and natural meets refined, these are definitely the pieces of furniture that you are going to want to be looking at. These boulders are rescued and made into furniture, so that the artist, Roman Langlois, can express his artistic personality while making sure that it stays true to the values that he originally set for himself when eh was still working with plaster sculpting material.
It’s so intriguing to look at why Langois chose to work with bisected boulders as his final option, as this is part of nature that you can’t manipulate very much at all. You have to admit, looking at the strings of bronze between the portions of the rock, this is a pretty beautiful artistic statement. You’ll want one in your living room, too, the more you look at them.
