Though many of us will never know it, tonnes of babies are born prematurely every week. They are faced with all sorts of medical complications and problems that make their lives much harder than ours. It’s a powerful feeling to look at the photos that show the before and after effect that they create. It’s so inspiring to see babies overcome the odds and survive to live their lives relatively complication-free. Though some suffer from all sorts of health conditions related to their premature births, others don’t, and no matter how the baby grows up and what problems they face, the fact that they survived is nothing short of a medical miracle.
