Call The Midwife Actress Cycles 2500km To Rescue Street Dog

British actress has cycled 2500km from Bulgaria to London to rescue a street dog and raise money for an animal rescue charity. Traveling across six countries, it has taken Kate Lamb six weeks to get from Bulgaria to London, England. Call the Midwife star’s mission raised over £12,000 to help street dogs in Bulgaria and she will now live with her new pal, named Scout in her London home.

Kate found Scout through her work with dog rescue homes Street Hearts BG in Bulgaria. Scout was found at a train station, abandoned, starving, eating plastic, but he will now live with Kate in his new home in London. What a nice happy rescue story.
Moreover, Kate is raising money and awareness for street dogs by embarking on an epic cycle from Bulgaria to London, through six countries, covering 10,500 km in just six weeks, all with the help of her new friend Scout. “I am not really sure how we are really going to do it, but I know it is going to be fun and it will be our first adventure”, says Kate.

They traveled through mountain regions, wet regions, experience the sun and rain weather conditions. Scout was sometimes running next to Kate or other times was sleeping in his basket, sometimes he ran out to the corn fields along the road, and once the wheels of their side car broke.
However, they finally finished their adventure and arrived in London, raised over 12,000 pounds for street dog charities, Street Hearts BG.
With one adventure down, Kate and Scout have many adventures to come in their new life in London together.
