Pappadavada, a famous restaurant in Kochi, India is run by a wonderful lady known as Minu Pauline. She once saw a woman having leftover food from a trashcan and felt pathetic. However, she did not stop there and decided to act on it.
She placed a fridge filled with food on the street so that whoever is in need of it can have it. The fridge is kept open round the clock and anyone can eat for free from there. On an average, she fills 78-80 meals on a daily basis. Some other restaurants in the vicinity and other individuals also fill food in the fridge to make sure that the homeless people do not have to stay hungry.
Such noble gestures make this planet a wonderful place to live in! We appreciate your wonderful job, Minu Pauline!
