Barn-find usually yields some of the most impressive cars from bygone eras, left forgotten and decaying in an old barn (hence the name). You can find any number of old and majestic automobiles in this manner and many scour the length and breadth of their country to find a hidden jewel that they can sell or restore.
One such case happened to Fernando Aguerre of Argentina, who stumbled across two 1942 Cadillac Fleetwood Series 60 Special four-door sedans. They were no ordinary models, however, as they featured heavily modified into wood-carved funeral cars, commonly known as a hearse.
The body of each Cadillac featured hand-carved designs made into magnificent swirls and waves – one even had a metal plaque with the name of the coachbuilder engraved, Hermida y Nazzi. Nobody knows anything beyond that, making them quite the mysterious find.

None the less, Aguirre took on the project of fully restoring the old beauties to their former glory, and he certainly achieved that!
