Selfies are all the rage and none more so than a selfie with your pet. Animals are never the most compliant when their owners are trying to photograph them, especially an excitable dog. Yet owners still persist, as they want to share their pride and joy with the world and just show how cute their dog is. Luckily a recent invention will make taking a snap with your furry friend all the easier. Clever Dog Products has created the Pooch Selfie, which is a simple attachment for smartphones which come with a removable tennis ball to really get their attention focused. “As any dog owner will tell you, it is difficult to get your pet to sit still long enough for a picture, let alone catch them looking into the camera. A selfie with your dog is nearly an impossible task,” the business writes. “Pooch Selfie takes advantage of a dog’s natural draw and focus to a tennis ball and uses this focus to hold their gaze as you snap away that perfect portrait picture.” The company launches a Kickstarter campaign to finance production, and have already hit their goal and then some. Their original target of $7,000 has already been tripled and there is still some time left. For a small pledge of $13, you can enjoy a Pooch Selfie just in time for Christmas, with a release slated for December 2015.
