Recently, in the famous Croso Zundert parade that was held in Zundert, Netherlands, Vincent van Gogh was honored. There were several giant floats filled with thousands of dahlia flowers, which were viewed by a crowd of thousands, and they were glad to have witnessed the work of 19 design teams. All the creations were inspired by the work of Vincent van Gogh, who was a resident of Zundert and was born 162 years ago. Artists used different style forms inspired from him, such as the colors, motifs and other graphics that made the audience remember of his work. The parade Croso Zundert was first started in 1936, and it showcases the abundance of dahlia flowers in that region. The area under dahlia cultivation is 81 acres and has 600,000 dahlia bulbs. The parade started by using bicycles and carts and eventually, the grandeur increased. Now, over 400,000 dahlia flowers are used for each design and the artists concentrate even on the minute details of the design to ensure that the overall parade comes out well.
