A dog and a cat being friends were never heard of to date. Still, you would be surprised to know how this 3-year-old Dutch Shepherd, which was originally a therapy dog, and a 3 months old pet rat are thick friends.
The Dutch Shepherd, Osiris, and the rat- the Riff share an impeccable bond. The rat Riff was rescued when it was just four weeks old and it survived as it received nursing care.
Eventually, the rat and the dog became the best of friends and they have set an example for friendship. While the Riff shows his friendship by going inside Osiris’ mouth and cleaning it, Osiris’ enjoys it and ensures that he does not hurt the rat.
