Imagine dedicating your life to creating clothing for those in need, little girls that you will probably never meet, but change their lives with the dresses you create each day. I’m not sure many of us could do such a selfless task, but 99 year old Lillian Weber does just that. She creates one dress a day, unique and personalized little dresses that will go to the girls in need of clothing around the world. She puts careful time and effort into her work and makes sure that each dress has something entirely unique so that each girl can feel beautiful and like she is beautiful and worth it.
Since her start in 2011, Weber has made 840 dresses and is steadily climbing to her next goal of 1000. She says that even though she is close to 100 years of age, she has no desire to stop her work or even slow it down. It’s clear in the work she does, that she cares deeply about her cause and will keep working as hard as she can to ensure that each girl’s back is covered.
