Is not a great thing to be missing a limb or more, but it isn’t necessarily represent the end of your life either. There are many people who suffered accidents or injuries and woke up one day with a leg or arm amputated. But some of them found the power to smile again, by laughing at their tragedy, which shows just how much they love life. Only in USA alone there are more than 2 million people without limbs. And about 185,000 amputation occur each year, expanding the number of amputees. Not having all limbs still allows us to live without a problem, as long as we have the will to continue. So here are the best examples that life can be beautiful, no matter what.
Pulling pranks at the beach
The beach is the perfect place to joke about your missing leg, for instance. Bury your injured leg and stick the prosthesis in the sand. Then lie down and pretend you’re brought in by the waves. Add some seaweeds for a particular effect. It is the perfect scenario that will scare the kids and the adults as well.
Use fun tattoo to mock the defect
There are plenty people that used the artistic side on a tattoo to make fun or to embellish their defect. Missing a toe? Add a tattoo is saying “Gone to the market!” or things like this. Some even tattooed a shark in remembrance of the unfortunate event right over what was left of an arm or leg. Some even saw something artistic in their amputated limb, like a giant finger or a dolphin head. All of these underlined by great tattoos.
The chance to have great costumes for Halloween
Since normal people seem to have a hard time finding a costume that is awkward and scary enough for Halloween, amputees seem to have no problem with this. They even manage to find cheap clothes and still look great. Do you have only one leg? Have you ever thought about transforming into a human lamp? Or perhaps a handsome pirate with a wooden leg will do the trick for you. Characters like a flamingo or a gingerbread man with an eaten limb are even more spectacular. All you have to do is follow your imagination.
