Ivena Smailes is an elderly British resident of the Addison Court Care Home which is located in Crawcrook, Tyne, and Wear. She just turned 105-years-old and had one request for her birthday. She wanted to have a fireman with tattoos come into the home and personally bring her a birthday cake. It turns out she got her wish.
A fireman surprised Smailes by climbing in through the window of the Addison Court Care Home and delivering a cake to her. Apparently, this was something she had on her bucket list for a long time. The nursing staff says she usually has funny birthday wishes. They are happy they were able to make this one come true for her.
