Wild animals have never been exposed to the majority of everyday objects that surround us humans, from cars, clothes and even something as common as a mirror. With the general lack of reflections found in the wild, it is understandable to think that wild animal’s reactions to seeing their reflection for the first time might be worth a look. French photographer Xavier Hubert Brierre clearly wanted to see for himself just exactly how that would go, and lucky for us he recorded the results. As you can imagine, the footage is full of some rather hilarious reactions from the animals. They animals all have their own responses and reactions to the foreign object, which makes for some great viewing for us!

Elephants are clearly the least vain animals in this jungle. This one couldn’t care less about seeing his reflection…
