Patrick Otema was born deaf. He is 15 years old and has never had a conversation with anyone in his life. He lives in a remote area of Uganda where there aren’t any schools for deaf children until now. Raymond Okkelo, a sign language teacher, hopes to help Patrick and others in the area by teaching them to communicate. Watch them attend their first day of class.
