Tirana is a city in constant transformation, and Puzzle Tirana is a bold architectural statement that captures this evolution. Designed by NOA (Network of Architecture), this 71-meter-tall mixed-use tower blends tradition with modernity, stacking house-shaped modules into a dynamic, puzzle-like composition.

A New Landmark for Tirana
Located on Rruga Medar Shtylla, near Tirana’s city lake, Puzzle Tirana sits on a 75 x 25-meter lot in a densely built urban area. The design reflects Albania’s transition from rural homes to modern apartments, embodying the city’s rapid growth. The tower will replace an existing structure and introduce:
- 160 apartments ranging from 70 to 130 m²
- A hotel integrated within the lower levels
- A commercial area on the first two floors

Architectural Concept & Design
Puzzle Tirana stands out with its four facades of house-shaped modules, each with a gabled roof, projecting between 0.5 to 3 meters. The irregular, interlocking arrangement gives the structure a sense of movement and complexity, making it an urban puzzle awaiting its final piece.
- 🏡 House-like modules with varied roof orientations and window placements
- 🌱 Integrated greenery, with local plants and shrubs enhancing the facade
- 🎭 Sculptural elements, adding an artistic pathway along the lower levels
- 🏙 A volumetric void between the 8th and 11th floors, creating a striking visual break

Functionality & Urban Integration
The functional layout is vertically organized:
- Underground parking
- First two floors – Commercial spaces with a triangular entrance
- 2nd to 6th floors – A mix of hotel and residential units
- 7th to 16th floors – Residential apartments only (158 units in total)
- Top three floors – Exclusive penthouses with private gardens at 58 meters

The flexible, hybrid spaces offer endless possibilities, from hanging gardens and loggias to rooftop cinemas, pools, and saunas.
