While the methods of advertising change and adjust to the times, there can be one common attribute that most of us will agree on – they are very annoying. It takes a lot to provide an advert that does rub someone the wrong way. Shamelessly trying to plug their goods, companies will sometimes show no bounced when advertising. These days we are swamped as soon as we turn on a screen, from mobiles and tablets to televisions and laptops (even old school methods like the radio too!)
For all of these horrible adverts we have to endure, once and a while we get a great advert for a great cause, which is always worth remembering. This list shows some fine examples of advertising done right. It is not to plug some product, but rather to help spread a real message, and delivering one that will be remembered long after we see it.
Some are made to shock, other disgust, with a few just outright terrifying. These are out of necessity as many spread a message that is sometimes not heard loud enough. These are not about commercial products like most adverts-they are about raising awareness to causes that need it.
