The people in Tokyo have lately observed what we have tagged “the world’s most patient pet walker”. Meet the Sulcata tortoise i.e. a large African spurred tortoise which is the pet and the owner is an elderly man who walks this tortoise around the town.
The two of them make an odd pair but what is obvious is that they have been together for quite a while considering how large the tortoise is. The owner sometimes dresses up the tortoise in costumes, the docile pet who apparently doesn’t mind plods along the side of its owner albeit slowly. togech.jp (h/t: rocketnews24)
