Birds of prey aren’t the first thing you think of when you’re looking for a cuddle buddy. When an owl swoops down upon its dinner full-speed, talons out, wings blocking the sun, your instinct is to turn the other way and run. But they’re just trying to get by in the wild…that doesn’t mean that they can’t show affection, too.
If you don’t believe me, just have a look at this little girl and her owl bestie — they’re just as close as any other kid and their snuggle pal.
