Margot Robbie is an Australian actress, who started with roles in a few Australian independent films and television series and later moved to the U.S. to pursue her Hollywood dream. She relocated to Los Angeles after working on the successful Australian TV series ‘Neighbours’ for three years. Within a few years in Hollywood, she has managed to work with prominent Hollywood actors and directors and has earned praise from the audience as well as critics.
Starting with the film ‘About Time’, she went on to star in Martin Scorsese‘s biographical crime drama ‘The Wolf of Wall Street’, and attracted attention from film critics. She soon played lead roles in a number of successful movies like ‘Focus’, ‘Suite Française’, ‘Z for Zachariah’ and ‘The Legend of Tarzan’. She won the hearts of the audience with her portrayal of Harley Quinn, an infamous DC Comics villain, in her latest movie ‘Suicide Squad’. She soon got to host the 42nd season premiere of ‘Saturday Night Live’, along with musical guest The Weeknd. She has been selected as the face of the brand Calvin Klein for its women’s fragrance Deep Euphoria.

She got drunk while shooting Wolf of Wall Street
The Wolf of Wall Street was received with mixed reactions from the audience, particularly due to the exclusive scenes involved in the movie. However, for Margot Robbie, this was a career defining moment for the young actress. The quandary is that, during one of the scenes, Robbie had to appear completely in the buff, something she was rather uncomfortable with especially with no prior experience in that department. Naturally, she was extremely nervous and one of the members of the crew was kind enough to offer a little juice to calm her nerves. Robbie admits that the 3 shots of tequila helped neutralize her nerves and boost her confidence.
Margot Robbie Tattooed Suicide Squad Co-stars And Crew As Harley Quinn
In addition to her aforementioned mastery of underwater acting, Margot Robbie brought another hidden talent of hers to the set of Suicide Squad, but there was nothing professional about it this time. The actress told Jimmy Fallon that she began dabbling in amateur tattoo artistry using friends and herself as practice after purchasing a “tattoo gun” on eBay and, despite her lack of any formal training, many actors and crew members from the 2016 supervillain film, including director David Ayer, allowed her to ink them. After a few mishaps, however, she revealed in 2020 that she has retired that hobby.
Margot Robbie and Christina Ricci
Between 2011 and 2012, Margot Robbie and Christina Ricci were cast as the lead roles in a comedy series known as Pan Am. The two played the characters of 1960’s stewardesses and had to wear retro super tight girdles to reflect the old days. Robbie always had a difficult time getting into the costume and had to rely on her roomie, Christina Ricci, to wrestle her way into the dress. Although the TV show seemed to be going pretty well, even going as far as to be called “the Mad Men of the sky,” the ratings hit a slump and Pan Am was not renewed for a 2nd season. Today, Margot lives with 5 of her closest friends in London.
