La Sagrada Familia is an incredible Roman Catholic church located in Barcelona whose construction began under Antoni Gauda almost 150 years ago. Funnily enough, construction is still underway all this time later, helping the church to gain the reputation as one of the world’s most famous long-term construction projects.
Quoted as the ’the most extraordinary personal interpretation of Gothic architecture since the Middle Ages’, the building can actually be viewed through an innovative virtual tool.
As it remains under construction all this time, the foundation currently overseeing the completion of the church have released a video to showcase how Gaudi’s magnus opus will look when it is finally finished.
A blend of computer animation and live footage captured from a helicopter have been used to create the video, which shows the remain stages of the project until its projected completion in 2026.
