A kitten and a piglet have struck up an unusual friendship after meeting each other at an animal refuge. Marina the kitten was rescued from the street where she had been abandoned shortly after being born, while Laura the piglet was rescued from the grounds of the meat factory farm where her mother is still confined. Both of them are the youngest inhabitants of the Santuario Igualdad Interespecie, a sanctuary for rescued farm animals in Santiago, Chile. Seeing them cuddle and snuggle up to each other, one can easily see that love can cross the boundaries of species.

Cuando tenía pocos días de vida, activistas la rescataron de un criadero cerdos y la trajeron al santuario para que pudiera tener una vida digna.Desde su llegada, Laura ha sido tratada con todo el cariño y el cuidado que una bebé merece, y ha formado una profunda amistad con la gatita Marina, demostrándonos con su ejemplo, que cuando se trata de relaciones de amistad y respeto, no importa la especie a la que se pertenezca :)
