Flying fish can make powerful, self-propelled leaps out of the water into the air, where their long, wing-like fins enable gliding flight for considerable distances. It appears these Flying Fish are in a no-win situation, picked off above the surface by Frigatebird’s and devoured underwater by the Dorado.
