Of course, these are not the pyramids in Egypt. Or the ancient Maya pyramids. These floating pyramids on the sea are a part of the conceptual design by Pierpaolo Lazzarini. Lazzarini has imagined a floating city with all the components a normal city has: houses, hotels, and even a greenhouse to grow crops.
This new pyramid city is called Waya or Wayaland and people are welcomed to live here. Architect Lazzarini is working to fund the project. And he is planning to offer citizenship when he completes and floats the first prototype. The architect said that he was inspired by traditional Egypt and Maya pyramids. But this conceptual design is a more modern version of these ancient structures.
One of the largest pyramids in this project will have 3000 square meters of base area. And this structure will have 10 floors with a total of 30-meter height. People in this pyramid will be able to use slides to go the lower flows. Also, bedrooms are planned on upper floors for convenience.

These pyramids will sail with a giant engine an propellers like a normal superyacht.
Also, this floating project will be environmentally friendly. The power will be generated from solar energy as well as water turbines.
The main materials will be carbon, steel, fiberglass, and all other materials found in traditional ships.
The total price of construction is estimated to be £306,908 for the first building which will be the hotel. Lazzarini is raising funds via crowdfunding and planning to complete the first stage of this floating pyramid city in 2022.
