Tal Peleg has turned the rather basic act of applying eye-make up into a full-blown art. For years, the she has transformed her eyelids into gorgeous pieces filled with intricate detail, often with the eyebrow playing a part of the overall scene.
“I find the eye to be a very interesting and challenging canvas,” she explains
Peleg begins any piece on paper first, outlining the design and establishing how the shape of the eye will play in the final product, taking into account the curves and contours of her eye.
It’s a slow process that can take up to hours at a time – the longest took a staggering four and half hours to complete! Not only is each one a visual treat, but they often carry messages relating to mental health and bullying, which are causes close to Peleg.
