Bill Davis of Tacoma, Washington, checked on some property one day after receiving an alert about a possible intruder.
Instead of finding troublemakers, however, he came across a few deer. Two fawns had stumbled onto the plot of land earlier that day and managed to get stuck in the mud. Thankfully, Davis and a coworker decided to put their excavator to good use.
The rescue was a success, and the confused deer left the site without sustaining any serious injuries.
It’s a good thing that those quick-thinking workers saved the day. If they hadn’t shown up, this poor deer probably wouldn’t have escaped with its life.
