Dasher and Dancer were rescued from an auction house by The Barnyard Sanctuary in New Jersey, minutes away from being shipped to slaughter. They were both born as by-products of the dairy industry and were taken away from the mother the second they were born and never given the opportunity to nurse and receive colostrum. They are both fighting pneumonia and diarrhea but are getting stronger everyday. My daughter is helping to nurse them back to health and they have decided that she must be their mother and follow her around every where she goes. They love her so much and she loves them.
