In most cases, it’s best to give wild animals their space.
But when Chad Anderson was driving down Cabbage Hill outside of Pendleton, Oregon, he had to stop and get close to a baby deer. The fawn was precariously stuck in the boulder catch fence on the side of the highway. So, the Good Samaritan stopped and worked until the fawn was free.
What a poor fawn!
Once the deer was free, Chad protected it until Fish and Wildlife Services came to collect the traumatized baby.
