Like Keith Haring, another graffiti artist famous for his works advocating social activism in New York, Saget also developed unique lines for Paris and gained a reputation. His drawing pops out in unexpected places in Paris as they go well with the Art Nouveau style of the city. However, Saget does not consider himself an artist in the traditional sense.
In his early works, Saget used pencil and paper but later decided to carry his patterns to the streets of Paris. He does not have a choice of surface as he works on stairways, pavements, walls, and any other flat surface. He has created over 2000 works in a few years. Jordane Saget also made several collaborations with many artists and organizations in and outside of France.
Jordane Saget’s lines are always eight millimeters wide and the patterns have a three-line aspect. Saget simply defines his works as ”the lines” and not as graffiti or painting.
