In a historic move, the Government of Persia banned the usage of animals for entertainment purposes in 2011. This move was made as the wild animals were not kept in livable conditions and were subject to cruel measures just to boost the profits. To counter this, Animal Defenders International came up with a move to rescue all wild animals which live in pathetic conditions. This organization is being supported by several volunteers including Bob Barker, a TV veteran. Till date, this organization has saved over 80 animals. However, volunteers working for this organization feel sad because they get to see animals in pitiable conditions. When not performing, this animal had to live caged to a truck. The baby animal Mustafa was sold when he was still young. Most of the life of Mustafa was spent in chains. Although circus owners protested this move, they had to give up eventually. Similar was the condition of this tiger too. Owners of this tiger protested too, but they had to give in. Similar was the condition of this condor.

When he wasn’t being dragged into performances, this beautiful creature spent his days chained up in a truck bed.
Mustafa was sold into the exotic pet industry when he was still a baby.
Emaciated and clearly in need of medical attention, he spent his entire life in chains.
Circus owners attempted to stage a riot in order to keep their enslaved animals, but they finally relented at the threat of heavy fines.
This tiger named Hoover was found 24 hours later in a separate circus. He lived in the same deplorable conditions.
Like Mustafa’s former owners, these people also attempted to riot against the rescue, but could not fight the laws that were stacked against them.
Condorito, a condor, had his wings clipped in order to keep him flightless and powerless.
But there is hope that his flight feathers will grow back, which would help him return to the wild.
