Synchronized swimming is an art form that many of us are fascinated by, but don’t entirely understand. It is often called water ballet due to its grace and delicate movements. In competitions, the swimmers often will perform to classical music due to its slow pace and grace that suits the routines. In the World Aquatics Championships, 2009, however, the Spanish team did their routine to Led Zepplin’s “Stairway to Heaven”.
