A project aimed to unite a rundown community in Mexican town Palmitas, found in the Pachuca district of the country, saw a youth organization work together with the government to give the town a much-needed lift. The group, known as ‘Germen Crew’ went to work on over 200 homes in the area, combining the work to create a massive rainbow mural. They aim to unite the community by providing a project and outlet for youths in the area. It appears to be working well, with reports claiming that 452 families have noted a reduced output of violence from youths in the area to almost nothing.
