In 1993, while browsing in a junk shop, artist Oliver Croy discovered 387 model buildings, the architectural creations of Austrian insurance clerk Peter Fritz. It is believed that Fritz made these models (range from farmhouses to bank buildings, churches to single-family homes, villas to gas stations) during the 1950s and 1960s, based possibly on existing buildings.
The collection has been exhibited at various locations around Europe in the past two decades. And now it’s placed in the Wien Museum, Vienna, Austria.
