Nathanael Dorent and Lily Jencks have created a contemporary home in the ruins of an 18th century Scottish farmhouse, with the goal of honoring the architectural wealth of that era. These 200-year-old ruins are now part of a totally futuristic house, powered by solar panels. The many skylights of the house allow almost never used electricity during the day even in cloudy weather.
