Teeny Tortoise Twins Hatch from Tiny Egg

In the human race, a mother birthing twins is exciting and joyful, but not truly uncommon. Within the animal race, however, it tends to be rather uncommon no matter where you look. For tortoises its especially rare. So, when this scientist saw a baby tortoise trying to break its way out of its egg and he helped the tiny creature, he got the shock of his life when he saw two tiny babies sitting in the remains of the egg shells. Normally letting nature take its course in a “survival of the fittest” kind of way, he’s grateful that he decided to get involved in helping these tiny twins make their way into the world. The larger of the two was the one trying to break free, perhaps wanting him and his little brother to make their way into the world together. As of right now, both twins are doing great and working on absorbing the yolk sack that is their food and energy for the first while upon hatching. Imagine, these little babies are fresh to the world and already famous in every home across the globe. They’ve got the life, don’t they?
