This cat was named after Oliver Twist’s cheeky companion, The Artful Dodger. And it’s certainly an apt name for Dodger.
Dodger, who moved to his new house with owner Fee Jeanes 19 months ago, has taken up a strange hobby: riding buses.
During the day, he will routinely snuggle up to passengers after getting on at his local bus stop – before going around the whole ten mile route and then disembarking when he gets back home.
Owner Fee thinks that he likes the warmth of a bus, comparing it to a greenhouse.
Fee was unaware of Dodger’s peculiar habits until her daughter’s friend said that she’d seen Dodger on the bus. Concerned, Fee went to the drivers at the bus station, who were all already familiar with the fifteen year old tom cat.
