Panda Babies Sleeping In Baskets Make Their First Public Appearance At Chinese Panda Breeding Center

An awesome sight to watch, the Ya’an Bifengxia Giant Panda Breeding Center was home to ten pandas which were born. All of them were displayed to the public for the first time and they were all in the age group of two weeks to two months. Luo Bo, the Animal Management at the China Conservation and Research Center’s Deputy Manager, declared that the pandas were in healthy condition and all the cubs including the twins are fit. Giant pandas usually breed only in 2-3 days each year and are able to give birth to one cub once in two years. 3/4th of the giant pandas of the world are present in Sichuan province. Also, the primary conservation site for giant pandas is located in Chengdu.
