Peruvian tour company Natura Viva has taken providing a room with a view to the next level with the creation of these three Skylodges. The see-through pods are fitted with a bed so you can take in the quite spectacular view of the Sacred Valley, situated in the Andes, near the city of Cuzco. Fitted to the side of a cliff, the Skylodges are 400ft in the air in a near-vertical rise. You get into the pods by climbing steep steel ladder, hiking or raking a zip line. The hotels are made of polycarbonate and aluminum and measure 24m by 8m, and will set you back around $300 USD. A rather one of a kind hotel, the view of the valley and the surrounding landscapes are truly spectacular, so those without a fear of heights may find it quite appealing- as long as they remain stable!
