Artist Creates Imaginative Wire Sculptures Inspired by Fantasy and Nature

Martin Debenham’s sculptures look like pencil lines brought to life as 3D objects.

Debenham is a self-taught artist and his collection of wire works are expanding every day. Most of it is inspired by fantasy creatures and nature. You’ll find languid mermaids and soaring eagles, seemingly hovering midair.

Though these sculptures appear to be light and airy, they’re actually quite heavy. The Golden Eagle sculpture, for example, weighs a full 22 pounds!
