Rosalia Lombardo
Rosalia was a little girl that passed away entirely too young. Stricken with grief, her father had her body mummified so that she appears to be just sleeping. Her body can be found in the Capuchin Catacombs of Palermo.
Pripyat
Unfortunately, this site is not a place you can visit, at least not safely. Abandoned after the Chernobyl disaster, the city has been the site of several horror movies. During the day, you can visit the site via bus tour, although you cannot get out and explore the city.

The Aseki tribe is known for smoking the bodies of their ancestors. In this ritual, they place the dead bodies on top of a hill to watch over the tribe today.
