Chinese Artist Covers Berlin’s Konzerthaus With 14,000 Refugee Life Jackets

In a shocking statement to show how tough life in for those Syrian refugees who are finding a home in Lesbos, this Chinese artist used the 14 000 life jackets that were discarded after arriving to line the Konzerthaus so that the entire world could see how many lives were given the option for a new beginning after  arriving here.  It is a heartfelt statement that is shadowed by how many have lost their lives struggling to find a safe place to live.  It is his hope that more and more refugees will find homes in Europe so they can forget their war-torn past and enjoy a life here with plenty to smile about.  Time will tell.  Until then, this art is powerful and strong and the whole world is watching.
