Russian Photographer Captures The Beauty Of Women’s Bodies With B&W ‘Bodyscapes’

Shooting nude models can be a simple route for a photographer, but Anton Belovodchenko of Russia has place his own unique twist on capturing the image of the bare female body. The models photographed are posing almost unnaturally, bringing focus and attention to different aspects of the body such as the back and spine. At a quick glance you could be forgiven for thinking these are ballet dancers who are posing in suggestive manners, with their body’s twisted out of shape. However, they can be linked to the style of photography known as bodyscape, in which you shape yourself to resemble a natural landscape rather than a regular pose. This appears to have traces of both in them and Anton has previous engagements photographing nature. Although they could be something entirely different, with the interpretation of the image different for each person that views them.
