Hilarious Photo Booth Portraits of Dogs Help Increase Adoption Rates

There are many inventive ways to try and help out with animal shelters, but this photographer has taken it to the next level – photographing dogs as if they are in a photo booth. These dogs are up for adoption, and looking for a way to try and spread awareness about these dogs in need, photographer Guinnevere Shuster was brought in to work alongside the Humane Society of Utah.

Hoping to encapsulate the quirkiness and individuality of each dog that was up for adoption, they decided to do mock portraits of the dogs as if they were in a photo booth. The cute pics are then uploaded onto the Facebook page of the organization and it has proved to be a resounding success, with placement rates for adopted dogs reaching 93.26%.

The portraits get shown on the Facebook page, along with regular updates on whether the dog is adopted or not, and most of them are finding new loving homes. Updates can be found across the Humane Society of Utah’s various social media websites, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.
