Barber Gives Free Haircuts to Kids Who Read to Him

Barber Courtney Holmes, owner of the Sparks Family Hair Salon in Iowa, is on a noble mission and preparing kids for their school year. He is cutting their hair for free if they read out when he is cutting. He spoke to Telegraph Herald and said that he is helping kids to study and also helping them to save their money so that it can be used on supplies required for school. Recently, a kid named Tayshawn Kirby, who is 9 years old, read Fats, Oils and Sweets by Carol Parenzan when he was having a haircut. Due to this, even Holmes ended up being informative. He says that with a nice idea, anyone can do their bit in helping the society progress.
