When Wasps Are Given Colored Paper, They Build Rainbow Nests

Wasps are terrifying little bits of cruelty that often fly around and chase you until you feel that you can’t leave the house for fear of being attacked by these vicious bugs.  That being said, even scary creatures such as these can impress you with how creative they can be and how beautiful they can make things.  Take this experiment as an example.  A biologist made it his duty to show the world that wasps can be beautiful.  These creatures, when given access to colored paper, will spin hives that are made from crazy colors, courtesy of the paper they are given.  You can see just how their hives are created, and try to enjoy them for yourself.  No one is asking you to love these little creatures and their creepy ways, but you have to admit that they make pretty incredible creations when given the right materials.  Hard to argue with that, right? More info: Mattia Menchetti | Twitter | Facebook
