When we think of animal sanctuaries, not many will think about a sanctuary for bulls, cows and calves, but they do exist, as evidenced by Gut Aiderbichl – who have more than 500 rescued animals. One such bull that was rescued from cruel captivity was Bandit, who had spent his entire life in chains without any real freedom. That was until Christian from Gut Aiderbichl stepped in and managed to save him from a life of neglect and cruelty. The giant bull clearly appreciated the new found freedom and his lovely home, as evidenced by his gleeful dancing when given the freedom to roam around. He jumps around happily, playing around in the hay provided for him. The sight of him nuzzling into Christians chest clearly shows how much happier the big bull is. The sanctuary has been saving countless animals from cruel living conditions, and the likelihood of being slaughtered for their meat. It’s great to see just how much of a difference their work does to these gorgeous animals!
